About Michele Rothstein
Michele Rothstein is the CEO and founder of Balloons with a Twist, a comprehensive entertainment and party planning company serving the Las Vegas Valley for nearly 30 years. Rothstein manages all facets of the business and continually assesses consumer needs to introduce new services and offerings. She merged her love for bringing joy to others with her part-time college job of creating balloon animals, transforming it into a thriving, multifaceted enterprise.
Additionally, Rothstein co-founded 30DaysSugarFree.com and is the mastermind behind MasterCalendarLasVegas.com, which provides an extensive directory of local charity galas and fundraisers. She is deeply embedded in the Las Vegas community, having served on the Board of Directors for Create a Change Now for eight years, as well as on the Advisory Council for Women of Global Change and The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. Rothstein actively supports various charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Aid For AIDS of Nevada, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude's Ranch for Children, and Dress For Success. Thanks to her entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and philanthropic efforts, Rothstein has received numerous accolades. She has been named "Best Event Planner" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas from 2017 to 2024. Additionally, she was a finalist for the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership award and was inducted into the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada’s “Women’s Hall of Fame.” Rothstein was also recognized with the esteemed “40 Under 40” title from Greenspun Media Group and received the Reflection Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship at the BIBO (Beauty In, Beauty Out) Awards. In 2020, Michele was honored as "Best Entrepreneur" at the Silver State Awards, received the "Five Star Customer Service Excellence Award" from the Vegas Chamber, and was awarded the "Women of Distinction Award" from the National Association of Women Business Owners. Jennifer Bradley is celebrating seven years at her own public relations company, JB Public Relations, and has a wide variety of clients in the healthcare, hospitality, amusement and real estate industries. Bradley encompasses 20 years of media relations and community relations experience in Las Vegas with clients. Bradley’s motto is, “Tell your story; before someone tells it for you.”
Jennifer is the co-chair of the board for the American Cancer Society, Nevada and also serves on the boards for the Sunrise Children’s Foundation, Create a Change Now, Las Vegas, Las Vegas Fashion Council, Henderson Community Foundation and the Better Business Bureau Board of Southern Nevada. Bradley’s awards include the 2020 PR Practitioner of the Year Award by PRSA Las Vegas, 2020 & 2019 Women of Distinction NAWBO Nomination Awards, 2019 PR/Marketing Agency of the Year by the Silver State Awards, and the Humanitarian of the Year Award, and 40 Under 40 by Vegas Inc. Committed to the community, Bradley is also on the Vegas Chamber Women’s Executive Council and also recently recognized by the Las Vegas Metro Chamber with a Business Executive of the Year Nomination Award. Each year, Jennifer chooses a charity to assist pro bono and has helped nonprofits, such as the Folded Flag Foundation and Veterans Village. About Melynda Flaggard
Melynda Flaggard is a remarkable woman who exemplifies passion, independence, class, and sass. Her career has been distinguished by significant achievements, allowing her to give back to her community through philanthropic efforts and volunteering.
As the proud partner of a veteran, she has had the honor of serving as treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary and being involved with the VFW Auxiliary. Furthermore, she dedicates between 20 to 35 hours each month to assist nonprofit organizations in our community, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact. As a founding member of the Las Vegas Sassy Seniors, a vibrant group of older adults aged 53 to 84, they actively participate in community events, volunteering, and showcasing their spirited personalities. They are celebrated for their joyful, positive, and supportive demeanor, aiming to create change while having fun. Throughout her life, she struggled with her weight, often using her 300-pound frame as a barrier against the outside world. However, after experiencing a stroke in 2011, she realized the necessity for change. She set a goal to complete a half marathon and triumphantly finished the San Francisco Golden Gate half marathon, marking a significant milestone. The transformation she experienced also motivated her to become a published author. She is currently working on her second book. |
